A lot of people will say they don’t work well. I watch them try to use them and they just cram them in their ears and think that will work. It doesn’t. It’s best if you watch a video on how to use them, but the trick is to roll them lengthwise to a point and then with one hand pull up on the top of your ear and gently insert the plug with the other. If it’s done right, you’ll actually feel it touch your ear drum. Then just wait. The foam will expand and as it does everything will get progressively more quiet until it’s fully sealed and even loud noises are a dull roar.
