They are also quite comfortable too….They don’t make my ears or sides or top of my head sore
Emelyn Valencia –
They seem to be blocking out noise just like I need if I am going to get sleep

My son went to a monster truck show after having ear surgery and this ear protection worked perfectly. It cancels out the noise while still allowing you to hear conversation and things happening around you.

Got these Incase the world goes under.. bought two packs for my large family.

The noise reduction isn’t quite what I expected. Even though the dB reduction is a higher number than my expensive and difficult to put in “fitted musician’s earplugs”, they reduce the volume less. On the plus side, I can get them on in half a second, and hopefully the sound reduction is enough to prevent hearing damage.

We have tried these while using several pieces of lawn equipment – a lawn tractor, blower, push mower and string trimmer. As described, the earmuffs reduce noise considerably. However, they do not cancel noise completely, so if you are looking for silence, these are not for you. They are also very snug-fitting. I didn’t mind this feature, and I assume that the close fit enhances the noise reduction. My daughter tried them, but found them too tight to be comfortable. Also, the vinyl material on the actual muff could be problematic in warmer temperatures. These are very economical, though and certainly provide enough ear protection to be worth the purchase.

This noise reduction headset works great for the purpose I intend for it to do. I used it around my house and turned up the TV volume. No one really talks this loud and especially in the airplane that I want to use it for. My long-haul flight is coming up soon and just my luck–I always sit near crying babies or spoiled 5 year olds. It is a little uncomfortable to wear but I am sure this is because I have not had such a device before and with some time, my head will adjust to the snugness, I am sure.

They dampen almost all noise but still allow you to hear if someone is talking to you.
