I really cannot rate this product because I haven’t used it and I hope I never have to use it! However, the idea of having a fibreglass blanket to put over a fire really appeals to me. It seems faster than trying to operate a fire extinguisher and it will definitely be a lot cleaner to use. I bought 4 blankets to use in my kitchen, my tenants kitchen, my husband’s work room and one for near our wood fireplace.

The package is designed to hang on a wall conveniently. I hung mine in the kitchen under the light switch. This location is near the exit door and my fire extinguisher. The fire blanket will be used first if needed. I hope I never need it but I like Ed the idea so much I bought 4 more for my family to put in their homes.
